I love knowing random tidbits about others, so here's 10 things you may or may not know about me:

- I am a homebody and consider myself an extroverted introvert (if that even makes sense)?!

- Photographer full-time since 2010.  However, I have an undergrad in Elementary Education and grad degree Curriculum & Instructional Technology with thirteen years of teaching experience previous to my job as a photographer.

- Home decorating and organizing is something I love to do.  (My first interest and declared major when I entered college (many years ago) was Interior Design.)

- I am wifey to Grant of 25-ish years.  We met at Iowa State (go Cyclones!) and dated most of our college years together.

- We have two kiddos that aren't so little anymore.  Elli is our oldest and attends University of Northern Iowa.  Nolan is our youngest and is a high schooler at North Polk.  Mom is my #1 title that I enjoy (and stress about) the most.

- When Elli left for college, I became 'dog mom' for the first time ever and our little mini golden doodle Ruby Sue became the third 'child' of our family. I have become everything I never thought I would be with being a pet owner.  She has brought so much joy, laughter and love to our family.

- I love personality tests and a little obsessed with the Enneagram.  I'm an 8.

- I find my calm and center my soul starting most days with devotionals, prayer and inspirational music.  My growing faith and relationship with Jesus has been my hope and saving grace for most of my life and has gotten me through 'life.'

- I am a farm girl at heart since that was my life through age 18 where I grew up in Stanton (southwest Iowa).  I do enjoy suburbia life, but am always drawn to the beauty and calmness of the country roads and farmsteads.

- I love music (mostly country) and have many memories of attending fun concerts (and theatrical shows) with my hubs, family and friends over the years.  I also love musicals (theatre and movies).  My favorites are The Greatest Showman and Grease.  When I was 19, I was Ado Annie in a community production of Oklahoma.
